A modern Christmas carol will unfold for two weekends in the Iris Theater in downtown Terrell.
It’s been a tough day for private investigator Cactus O’Riley. She’s dodging Deputy D. A. Windsor, trying to help her secretary Freda leave her over-protective mother and she may have to close her business. She doesn’t need the aggravation of two fugitives busting in looking for the dead dectective Jake Marley.
The production stars veteran actors Jim Holcomb and George Guillot, Jr., as well as newcomers to the stage Sarah Emily Smith, Linda Craker, Jorge Rodas and Gayle Harris. Ron Harris directs, assisted by Mark Reynolds. Michelle Stambolija is in charge of lights and sound.
Performances will be December 14, 15, 21, and 22 at 7:00 p.m., and December 16 at 2:00. Admission is $10.00. There will be an opening night reception immediately following the performance on Friday, December 14.
Call 972-563-5481 for reservations – seating is limited.
The Iris is located at 209 West Moore Ave. inside Books and Crannies in downtown Terrell.
