George Edd Lees, formerly of Terrell, passed away July 22, 2008 in Bonham, TX. Graveside service will be at 10:30am, Monday, July 28, 2008 at D/FW National Cemetery in Dallas.
George was born July 23, 1920 in Bedford, TX to the late George and Mary Lees. Mr. Lees was a proud veteran having served in the US Army in WWII. He was married to the late Maria A. Lees, and previously married to Geraldine E. Lees.
George was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra L. Lees.
George is survived by his children, Lynn E. Lees of Elmo and Trezice A. Lees of Greenville; 5 grandchildren: Shelley Lees of Elmo, Ricky and Mary Cameron of Indiana, Candy Huff of Edgewood, Amy Hamm of Terrell and Craig and Emy Bingham of Columbia, Wisconsin; 8 great grandchildren: Bradley Lees, Crystal and Kelly Ray Cameron, Jessica and Robert, Jr. Huff, Ashley and Courtney Hamm and Madalyn Bingham.
The family received friends Sunday, July 27, 6-8pm at Anderson Clayton Bros. in Terrell.
